  This is not a David Lynch film. 

  Let me set the scene.  

  Dad announces to the family he’s a got us a dodgy box. Oh the joys. I think to myself ‘yippee, now I can watch any movie I want’. 

  Fast forward a month or so, and dad and I are sitting down in front of the fire. We’ve had a slow Sunday. He’s “watching” golf. He keeps falling asleep. I sneak over and nab the remote from him.…
