the script is lacking but i much prefer seeing gia coppola deal with themes such as womanhood or ageing than sean baker, who is mentioned as a "better" comparison in some reviews. pamela anderson is amazing in this as well. maybe this film's biggest mistake for modern movie watchers was not be implicitly exploitative of womanhood.
