This is a tough one - a couple of the absolute best action scenes in the entire series sandwiching some of the most boring story elements/dialogue imaginable. It's diminishing returns at this point on the core "We have to draw Bourne out so we can either bring him in or kill him" plot, and this does nothing to solve that problem. If you can endure a lot of generic spy talk to get to the spectacular fights and chases, then by all means, check it out.

    Women > Woody

This is basically a replacement-level Woody Allen film, nestled right into the middle of the pack. Some wonderful performances, especially by the female cast, but a lot of eye-rolling Woody standards (fear of death, men who can't appreciate what they have, etc.). This one kind of washed over me like a passing light rain shower.

One of the most arduous, meandering, pointless, and flat-out awful films I've seen in a long time. At one point, I looked down at my watch, expecting that we were at least an hour in - nope, just 20 minutes.

As many others have already pointed out, this is Taxi Driver + Joker + Stan + bodybuilding. Nothing here is new. Nothing is consistent. Nothing is subtle. Every single plot beat is "IS ThIS ToO EXtrEEEEEmE FoR yOu?!" It tries…

This was the basis for the SNL Antonio Banderas sketch - "NO, IT IS TOO HOT! DON'T DO IT!"

It's kind of pointless to focus on the sub-par acting and writing, because we are here for the pretty people writhing and grinding, and nothing more. And we get what we came for.
