  Mon dieu I love this cinematic little masterpiece. The locations are genius, so very French yet reminiscent of Chandler’s LA in true hard boiled style. 
  Paula is uber cool and in control and dressed to the nines (Courrèges?) and gunshots sound like gunshots.
