It’s odd, bloody and disgusting but for good reasons. It feeds the thematic of the film with grandiose.
Coralie Frageat succeeds in demonstrating the impossible perfection woman are asked to reach, more so in show-business.

It’s…fine. A mediocre Disney sequel but I’m still waiting to be blown away by one of those (Pixar NOT included).
Unlike most people, I enjoyed the songs. They were fun of not included a bit clumsily. That and the animation was the high ground of the movie. The animation especially is hitting high grounds at times. The ancestors spirits in particular is beautiful. Wicked 2024
I came into this movie blind. I‘ve never been to with NY or London, therefore my culture regarding staged musicals is limited. Even though I’ve heard of Wicked before, I learned that it was connected to The Wizard of Oz just this year. I was unfamiliar with the story, the characters, and the songs.

Mean Girls 2024
I honestly didn’t expect to enjoy this one so much. I’ve never seen the original so I don’t know how it holds in comparaison but this works so great. It an amazing musical, the music is almost it’s own character. It’s like a fever dream on what you remember high school to be and that’s why it works a lot better then all the other teen girl movie which usually takes themselves too seriously. This one knows it’s ridiculous but also keeps it real on the more important points like bullying and the influence of social media. A great watch !
