  While I think that the movie is ok, it bothers me that they went against lore and made Durmstrang into an all-boys school and Beauxbatons into an all-girl one, seemingly just for a division between heavily gendered fairy and macho introductions.

  Wouldn’t it be funnier - and more inclusive - if Durmstrang featured something like a nonbinary, French death eater and Beauxbatons had Romanian male wizards that could breakdance?

  While I do like that the characters impersonating Harry express a form af genderfluidity, I think that it is uncalled for and problematic of Fleur to say that she is ’hideous’ after her impersonation of Harry.
