  this movie wasn’t what i expected it to be. at all. qala’s life is portrayed so beautifully and it really makes you empathise with her. the choices she makes humanises her, and the depiction of it all is just a huge cherry on top. it’s all just so melancholic and loud, but in a quiet sort of way. definitely one of my top ten movies now.
