Dune 2021
Denis Villeneuve's Dune is grandeur at a scale I haven't seen in the cinema since... perhaps never. It's a stunning masterpiece that spares no expense in creating the awe-inspiring landscapes and sets that makes every scene suitable for framing. It's expertly orchestrated by a magnificent score by Hans Zimmer, and Timothee Chalamet and the rest of the cast are amazing. However, Dune is an atrocious movie. Dune is not a movie, it's an art piece. A 2 hour and 35-minute long, five-star, art piece. And at that, it excels. Go watch this on the biggest screen you can find, anything else is a waste of time.

If part one felt like a long intro sequence to an actual movie, this part two felt like a long recap made out of glimpses from a season of a tv-series.
