  cried like a little baby throughout this. don't know if it was the homesickness and missing my cat back home, or the vividity of animation and emotions. i've seen the hugest of movies fail at conveying the complexity of emotions that this film has done through birds. one of the most lovely movies i've seen in a while, these little guys have my heart.

  this village is the perfect setting for this kind of storytelling, already looking forward to my next rewatch. so many shots were soo cool, and i love anything that teeters on the line bw narrative and mystical. love the fish & crows shot!
