Wicked 2024
Long-time Ariana Grande stan, first-time Wicked viewer.
In a way, I was glad to be going into this movie with little to no context about the original Wicked stage production or the book that it was based off of.
I believe this gave me an unbiased lens to view this movie through.
Whether the casting and storyline were up to par with the stage production, I cannot say. However, simply as a movie, this was super fun and heartfelt!

Captain America: Brave New World 2025
I had seen all of the negative reviews about this movie before watching. After the movie ended, I turned to my sister and said “that wasn’t that bad” just before Anthony Mackie surprised us by walking into my theater to address the audience. Needless to say, I disagree with most of the negative reviews after that experience. My friends and I now have a parasocial relationship with Anthony.
