it’s a fun movie, it makes me laugh, but it’s hard to watch a movie about sex worker made by a male. the main character’s motive is shallow and it’s not explored enough. somehow it feels obvious that this movie was made through a male point of view. it’s a fun movie but that’s about it.

i think i wrote the last review while on the euphoria of the screening. here’s what i really think about it:
it’s giving sierra burgess.
the issues that are brought up are important, and that’s a big plus point for the film. however, it’s kind of disappointing to see the main character not owning up or being fully responsible for what she’d done. at the end, she got what she wanted instead. the film overall was fun to watch, but when we think about it, what price do other people have to pay for us to “find ourself”?
