I don't often give out 5 stars to movies. Even flawless perfect movies will usually get a 4.5. This is one of the rare exceptions. What a powerful film. Somehow it manages to be hilarious, depressing, serious, funny and historical all in one. The idea that one man can have so much joy in life and to shield his son of the horror of the world they live in was incredible to watch. Bravo!

What a beautiful film. I thought The Wild Robot would be my favorite animated movie for this awards season but I enjoyed this more. The animation was breathtaking, the score was amazing and the cinematography and camera work was just stunning. I am such a sucker for long shots and Flow had many long shots. Just an all around great animated movie.
