The Brutalist 2024
This was an interesting journey, that felt like a biography of real people, despite being a historical fiction. Brody is entrancing, and Pearce is back in a film worthy of his chops. Miss Jones scenes are stellar, making me wish she was featured more. There is an awkward, and maybe forced, conflict pushed forward late in the film…..that only served the purpose of creating a tense exit for one of our stars…..
It would have been better left out or perhaps developed more….
