    3 adjectives to describe the sound in this film

    Foreboding. In the first couple scenes the wind and other ambient noises like the radiator create a sense that something distrurbing or perturbing is about to happen to Henry in a short while

    Nauseating. Though the visuals are equally disgusting, the sounds the chicken makes when it bleeds or when the dancing woman crushes the falling objects under her shoes are repulsive

    Attention-grabbing. Since there isn't much dialogue, the sound made from actions in or outside the frame are always of utmost significance

    What makes this movie cool is the main character Michel. He is clearly a character who is doing everything in his power to achieve the persona of a the cool gangster. Everything he does, he does by that "cool" code even while he dies. Michel drives fast cool cars and passes people in taxis, he kills cops that are trying to cramp his cool dude style, and he steals money from whoever. He lives and dies to be cool. He is a good mockery of this persona because he dies ultimately for nothing in particular, a very avoidable death that he embraces to retain this title.
