    A solid film.

What’s most striking to me is the visuals. The cultural immersion that Sean Baker achieves   peers into swathes of the US that outsiders often glance over with ease (aided of course by a bi-coastalised media industry).

When it’s such a consequential country, in ever more tumultuous times, these films feel like they probably mean… something, maybe?

A very enjoyable easy watch imo. Visuals quite enjoyable, (reminded me of occupied city) although looks like a different world to the freezing cold Poland I was in in December…

Kieran Culkin is great, but I do feel he may be a one trick pony.
I like the generosity of vital good natured humanity throughout the film, in a reality that is maybe too cold,.

Yeh, meh, good but like nothing resonated too powerfully with me idk. All really good performances but I wasn’t particularly moved at any point. Very nice world building if I can say that about something set in a real place and period.

I’m obsessed with Leoooooooo… but also what an amazing movie. Can we bring back orchestral movie scores like wth? I’ve taken a while to get to this one but it definitely lives up to the hype, and by hype I mean the fact that it was mentioned in that Netflix doc like 5 years ago about the online hookup and cat murderer. Yes, yes, very good.
