    The Exorcist is a film which lives up to it's hype and reputation. The scares are brilliantly filmed producing the perfect horror atmosphere and suspense while being visual enough to thrill. It masters what every great horror film has; the ability to be a very interesting film even in the scenes without supernatural elements.     For a David Cronenberg film The Fly is surprisingly tame in a political or social exploration. Nothing more than a standard Jekyll and Hyde story. However it is still remarkably entertaining.
