  Rewatched this for the first time in two years or so. It’s so good. Pitt is just effortless in this, DiCaprio really tickles me, and Robbie is luminous.

  Lovely to see Sharon Tate’s scenes in The Wrecking Crew actually featured her and not Robbie as a cgi insert a la Rick Dalton’s appearance as Hilts in The Great Escape.

  Also great to see the subjective nature of memory concerning Bruce Lee, with Cliff’s less than generous memory of the martial…

  Saw this on Thursday at Aesthetica, York. Great, tense little drama.

  Love the way this was shot; despite being set in a field, the wide open space hemmed in by pylons and electricity cables felt incredibly claustrophobic. The muted, drab colour palette, combined with desolate feel of the field worked really well to create a slightly distorted vision of an otherwise ordinary, mundane, edge of town setting. Low camera angles and the “ceiling” created by the barbed wire-like cabling trap…
