Look, as much as I wish I was Andrew Garfield, I relate way more to Florence Pugh in this movie. Guess I need to find my Andrew Garfield.

I’ve read the book. I’ve seen the stage musical. This movie is simply everything I could have possibly asked for. There are some practical things that bothered me, but who cares? Not me.
I’m here to watch Galinda’s bubbly veneer pop and to watch her transform into a loving and caring Glinda.
I’m here to watch Elphaba hide her hurt with a smirk and an eyebrow raise, to see her melt into her friendship with the good witch.

There’s a new category of tv that is absolutely crushing. Massive franchises like Star Wars, Marvel, and DC have their blockbuster heroes. Then there are shows like this. Gritty, realistic, dark shows about the little guy. I love these shows. Andor and Jessica Jones come to mind. The Penguin is an excellent crime drama about the crime families of Gotham. The cast is amazing. More than once one of my favorite supporting actors has shown up unexpectedly.
Binge watched the first 5 episodes in a weekend.
