  Some of the best visuals in any movie lol. Got to rewatch on the big screen sometime - got distracted by my baby and my dog a bunch of times. Extremely rewarding to finally recognize the source of a ton of references in other great movies influenced by this one, from Bergman island (lol) to perfect Blue. What a big part of the visual vocabulary of movies, I’m excited to rewatch without two cuties (Lucy and Louise) demanding attention every 12 minutes.

  At the beacon, the screening began with a special video from mark about the importance of cinema and I was weeping immediately! Even though no one around him sees it, we get to see what ambition braided with dreams looks like as it slams against the poorly scored cabinet door of limitation. I want to watch “coven” so bad, it looks genuinely great. I love the revelation of how to pronounce that word and mark’s shock and disagreement. Every character…
