Late Night with the Devil 2023
it’s so deeply disappointing that they used AI… like I don’t know. it makes me sad because this movie was just as good and enjoyable upon rewatch but it is unacceptable to forgo art for convenience. i fucking hate ai and I hate sacrificing art for a quick buck sell out (cough cough the minions). completely tarnished what could have been a pretty universally praised and appreciated horror movie, which is rare today!

blake lively is not suited for this role and ill DIE on that hill. Justin Baldoni owned every minute of screen time he got and im so grateful they didn’t stray too far from the original story too much, but much of the line delivery was lackluster from Lively. Slate did exceptionally well, I genuinely cried when she was talking about Emerson and Ryle.
also her outfits made her look like she was the homeless one, but whatever.
