    I admire what it’s going for and in the right mood I could see getting on its wavelength. But I spent way too much of this feeling like I was watching an indie video game or, worse, a Windows 95 screensaver.

    I’ve seen this so many times that I wasn’t prepared for how much the comedy - especially as it relates to the white wannabe political elites - pops. Keitel also has some brilliant non-sequiturs. I might argue the levity is what keeps this from being just a straightforward descent into mental madness. For my money, this is funnier even than the cinephile revisionist darling, The King of Comedy.
