Recommend: Yes
I've been mulling over this one for a few days now and haven't been certain how I feel about it.
So, this is clearly a pixar film which means it isn't bad. However, it feels like it could have been so much better. Instead of a soulful(forgive the pun) movie about jazz and accepting your mid-life for what it was, it up-ends itself to give us a kooky adventure instead.

Yet another action film with a contrived plot about ending war. The action sequences feel uninspired at best, and downright boring at worst with gunplay that seems to be coreographed by airsofters in their spare time. The acting is actually enjoyable at times however and the best part being the near-relatives to CHAPPIE; the GUMP units look really cool and brings a sci-fi element I would have loved to experience more of in this film that otherwise has you forget that one of the main characters is a robot, even with the constant reminders the film throws in your face.Translated from by
