  This movie was legitimately a ripoff of “It Follows” while relying almost solely on jump scares as opposed to the actual creepy atmosphere of “It Follows.” Skip this one and watch “It Follows” instead if you haven’t seen it!

  Obviously biased here (I have a Stealie tattooed on my neck) but anyone who’s at all interested in this truly world-altering band and the movement it inspired should check out this movie. The influence of the Dead is still highly visible today and continues to attract new fans even 50+ years after the band’s inception.

  Fuck this show. Seriously. I have nothing positive at all to say about it. It clearly failed to understand the difference between “scary” and “gross” and by the middle of the show the plot had become so convoluted that there was absolutely no hope of saving it. This struck me as a series made by someone who desperately wants to be David Lynch but lacks even an iota of his talent.

  This is one of those movies that I’m always down to watch. I’ve probably seen it around 30 times by this point and if someone tells me they want to watch it, it still gets put on. Easily the best of Rob Zombie’s three “Firefly Clan” movies, the nihilism exhibited by Spaulding, Otis, and Baby as they commit their brutal crime spree is what really makes this movie special to me. I also consider this film to be a sort of dark comedy, as the banter between the members of the Firefly Clan is oftentimes hilarious and almost humanizes them. Almost.
