The Substance 2024
Only rating it this high because the concept was so insane that I couldn’t help but be so entertained. Throughout the entire film I was questioning whether a theme of the movie centered on feminism or if it was trying to but severely falling flat and instead explaining just how ingrained in everything misogyny is.

I feel like I could relate to the main actor because with my paranoia, I too have questioned whether I’ve murdered anyone while driving on autopilot and being out of body for a second hahaha
In all seriousness, I thought the plot of this movie was strikingly interesting and the character’s moral/ethical dilemmas combined with the suspense throughout the movie had me hooked.
