I absolutely adore this movie. From the cinematography to the acting, everything about this movie is such a refreshing take on modern horror. Anya Taylor-Joy is a phenomenal final girl and plays off of the dynamics of the other characters beautifully which is perfectly blended into the tense and disturbing atmosphere. Chef Slowik (Ralph Fiennes) is such a nuanced villain that has easily become one of my favorites in all of horror.

I came into watching this movie with a very different set of expectations than what it resulted. I was expecting more of a standard movie format, but I was pleasantly mistaken. I greatly appreciated the more analog horror style that the movie presented and how it incorporated both the backstage and filmed portions of the story.
