Made for some enjoyable time. Honestly a halfway decent adaptation of what's so enjoyable about the games. Going in with sorta low expectations ultimately led to me enjoying it quite a bit and I look forward to watching it again.

Ichi the Killer 2001
Grittiness, shock value and creative direction all add up to be a pretty gripping yet disgusting ride. Some really memorable sequences and I remember why I shut it off the first time. Maybe I should have this time too, but there is definitely something here.
It's crazy when the bad guys are so tame compared to the REAL bad guys.
