  Watching this movie was painfully embarrassing. Akin to watching your own Mother, or Father, piss themselves on stage in front of a whole audience.

  Not ruthless enough to cater to the vitriolic crowd, not slapstick enough to cater to the stoner crowd and not clever and enough of a character assassination to cater to the pseudo intellectual crowd... it just kind of is? Essentially a 1 hour 30 TikTok parody video with similar levels of production.

  This was my first experience of watching an Asylum movie for the purposes of analysing it, and whilst I thought the set design was really great and Arianna Asfar put in a good performance, this movie was so heavily saturated in unnecessary dramatic suspense that you might drown in it and peppered with some questionable plot developments that it was just... alright... not good alright, bad alright.

  I was all set up, going in, for a silly, over-the-top schmoz where characters make completely irrational decisions for the sake of plot development and there was some nonsense "oh they should have done better" message sewn into it, but there was none of that here. It was an intelligently created, expertly produced, thriller movie that took a overly exposed subject matter: contagious disease outbreak but still managed to produce something fresh, engaging and interesting. Sheila Reid was really great too, an absolute cinematic treasure. I really enjoyed this movie.
