  [Christian Bale Week: Day 3/7] Watched this with the RiffTrax dub for shits and gigs, but this was a surprisingly competent movie. Good CGI effects for 2002 and a unique take on the apocalypse genre. Along with having a cool protagonist, this was a good time. Although McConaughey's death was extremely funny which wasn't the intention, Reign of Fire was fun.

  The Amazing Spider-Man 2012

  I've only ever seen the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man movies until now. I'm glad I finally saw the Garfield portrayal because this was a fun movie. The origin story was probably better than the Raimi movie (then again, maybe this one needed Bonesaw) and I liked the story of him coming to terms with his powers, the death of Uncle Ben, and dealing with Connors. As far as superhero movies go, this one is a really good one I'm satisfied with.

  This was a lot of fun with the most charming hostage situation that I've seen in a film. You had a lot of silly jokes and a really fun premise that worked for me. Airheads just hit right, man.

  The Meteor Man 1993

  This was pretty shitty but the fun kind of shitty you can enjoy. I thought this had its own charm despite having several plot holes and awful CGI. With friends, The Meteor Man was a good time but it's still only an average movie experience.
