That was...way too long. The plot devices were either too much on the nose (did you really have to tell us that transferring Joi entirely to the emanator would make her vulnerable?) or unexplained (why does birth make Replicants more human than humans?).

Really wanted to hate this but got sucked in and ended up really enjoying it. The songs and suits each have their place (even that disgusting black shirt/black suit he wears to the photo shoot; poor decision on the part of the costume director even if solely to convey mourning) and they even give the jazz keyboard crown to Korg, a title it so richly deserves. Love it. Really a fun movie. Kinda lame that they didn’t keep up with each other AT ALL.
