  Managed to capture the energy of the book but they took out all the interesting stuff. I know they couldn’t fit the whole novel in but it was kinda disjointed without the lore. Also can’t believe they didn’t have Akasha try to kill every single man in the world. Watered down her misandry into boring old vampire supremacy

  By not pretending to be anything deeper than a vehicle for fairytale true love, it gives lots of room for story and character. It doesn’t concern itself with anything that might be boring or redundant to explain, making great use of reality-bending and skillful pacing. Nobody needs to hear me say that The Princess Bride is a good movie (besides maybe Natalia, if you read this) but if for some reason you need a reason to rewatch it consider the witty dialogue and banter, the cool sword fights, the cool costumes, the cool settings, and the pirates. I really like pirates.

  I thought I was going to hate it because I was scared they would Netflix-ify it but it actually had my full attention the entire time and was soooo fun. Sometimes the cringe boring part of me was like “they’re doing too much” but then it’s like who am I kidding. Of course they are that’s the whole point.
