It’s different now…
I really love this film it’s low stakes but also high stakes, high PERSONAL stakes which hits so much harder for me. You’ve got a brilliant original villain in The Phantasm, a mystery that is tight and feels like it spans the city but doesn’t put the fate of the world at stake so Gotham feels alive and like it’s moving around as well as the gold standard for Batman in Kevin Conroy’s performance.
