A masterclass in storytelling and the culmination of 14 years of history. Chris Renaud gave his magnum opus as a director showing that 2024’s blockbusters can and do exceed the blockbuster resurgence Barbenheimer brought the year prior. I can not begin to describe the level of his artistry. At times this movie flew by and at times it slowed to a crawl and you can tell it was all with intention.
