    Obviously pissed off with the political setting that’s devoid of any message - but we can’t upset Disney shareholders can we. The geopolitical tensions and naval posturing it allowed for was cool to see - although X-Men First Class did it far better.

    It feels slightly lifeless, but it was an enjoyable way to kill 2 hours.

    It suffers from the sort of weightless combat of the other DC films, and has a severe case of what I’m dubbing the ‘James Gunn Effect’, whereby late 20th century rock anthems are given a little too much prevalence during actions scenes.

    Had high hopes for this but it did not deliver 

    The first hour is boring, the editing is very weird, the cgi is off putting, the dialogue isn’t great, and Furiosa’s plot armour is ridiculous.

    Fury road is a better mad max film, Dune is a better desert film. Rather disappointed
