This movie felt like how when you say a word so many times it starts to sound weird. The way that (almost) nothing she did was extraordinary but watching her complete monotonous everyday task repeatedly as her would gradually fell out of rhythm reflected her mental state more powerfully than could be expressed through words or dramatic acting. A Resistance 2019
Incredible and so heartbreaking. Raises poignant issues of collaboration vs resistance. Incredibly well executed - the choice to shoot in black and white gave the film a powerful sense of gravity. I particularly liked that this film focused on women’s resistance which can often be overlooked in history.
