  Really pleasantly surprised with this one! Chalomet is excellent, and the songs were catchy and fun. Hugh Grant wasn’t nearly as annoying as I thought he would be. Good little movie.

  I feel like I didn’t see the same movie as a lot of these other reviewers. Sure, this movie was insanely entertaining, and seeing it in IMAX with our seats shaking every time a sand worm appeared was an awesome experience. But this is the director who made such captivating films with deep character studies like Arrival and Prisoners. Who the hell are these people? I get Paul and the prophecy and the witch ladies and all that fun stuff, but where’s the character development? I literally found myself falling asleep as the film neared its climax.
