As soon as I saw the first poster announcing this movie about 18 months ago I knew I had to see it. Although I was only born 5 years after the death of Freddy Mercury's death, I have been a big fan of Queen's music since my dad introduced me to them somewhere around 10 years ago.
It doesn't happen often that I already get goosebumps in the opening scene of the movie. But in this movie I certainly did.…
I didn't expect much of this movie, and thus I am not too disappointed. It's a decent superhero story that gives us a small backstory of how the normal guy ends up getting supernatural powers, has an antagonist who only becomes really dangerous for Ant-Man at the end of the movie, and has some pretty good actors like Michael Douglas and Corey Stoll whom I already knew from House of Cards.

After just having watched Vol. 1 the day before, I went into the cinema with not too many expectations, not having liked the first movie too much.
But the second movie definitely did some things right and I really enjoyed it. CGI looked better than in the first movie and the humor that built up on the first movie was hilarious.
Seeing that it was never meant to be a serious movie, I can only say that I enjoyed Guardians 2 very much and can recommend it wholeheartedly.
