    I enjoyed this movie although the characters remain quite two dimensional (and the one female character which exists checks all the stereotype boxes, which got on my nerves). Still, it drew me in quite nicely and has that awkward humour I enjoy so much.

    What a strange movie this is. A story of galactic proportions but set in a sleepy coastal village; The Omen meets ... what, exactly? It left me wondering; there are quite funny sequences, the acting is (deliberately?) mediocre yet sometimes very good, the whole thing farcical. I'm not sure it's intended that way. What a strange movie indeed.
