  Wow this movie seems pretty chill for like 75% of it and then the end hits you hard, not because it’s surprising but because of how abrupt and deeply upsetting it is. I wouldn’t say I enjoyed watching it, but the more I think about it the more I’m impressed by how this was such a visceral queer time warp fantasy nightmare without being overly explicit or graphic with violence.
