  Wasn’t sure I’d get through this, but I kinda liked it! Oz is a cool world, and I felt really bad for the goat. The music was okay, but mostly forgettable, and I mostly just wished they’d get back to the goat story.

  Cool makeup. The plot boils down to “what if there was a scary guy in a theatre?” Apparently it used to be more complex but because it’s a silent movie they just changed the dialogue cards, which is hilarious.

  As as Serious Horror Guy I could point out that this doesn’t follow the spirit of the original, and tacks on muddy social commentary that goes nowhere.

  As a person who actually enjoys horror movies, this was a fun bit of gory dumbness with a guy who kinda resembles Leatherface.
