  I'd say the best part is Andrew Garfield and some of the other major actors feel out of place. I feel that the final half is 50% filler for the movie. I understand it's a war film, but it feels excessive.

  I also didn't enjoy the scene where the U.S. men sneak up towards the Japanese forces to be jumpscared by a injured soldier starting off the shooting. It felt really corny, with many other corny scenes sprinkled in.

  Prefer the original ending of conquest of the planet of the apes but that being said this is a kind of goofy what if timeline. Also enjoyed seeing a beginning to the Mutant Humans. Wouldn't watch it again though.
