Fun fact: they originally commissioned Max Landis, the writer of Cronical, to come up with a screenplay for this. But he wrote a truly silly film, one where the pink ranger was a dude ( which I would have loved to have seen) so they canned his work and took on a different script. Still very enjoyable even if it leaned more Micheal Bay than camp.

I CAN NOT get over Alpha’s costume. He’s just some dude in latex! WHERES THE METAL! WHERES THE SUIT THAT THE ACTOR COULD NOT PHYSICALLY BREATHE IN!? I get it. Times change. There’s laws about not suffocating people on set. But come on man! What was THAT?!
