  This movie is gorgeous and processing only the parts of it that apply to me make it very scary. I unfortunately knew what the bigger picture metaphor of "The Pink Opaque" was going into it which I think made it harder to enjoy on its own as I kept trying to figure out how bits and pieces of the film fit into that metaphor without trying to apply it to my own life and experiences until much later in the film.
