Now hear me out: Michael Bay on a budget, Noroi: The Curse Shiraishi found footage uneasiness at times, Terrence Malick spirtuality, Michael Mann's digital age cinematography, The Raid Redemption/Dredd (2012) level viscerality and situational action plot setups, and a tinge of Ayer's own shlocky spice and humor.

The clashing tones make this film, from the stupidest racey jokes to inappropriate sexual humor to police brutality and ICE. Like finding tapes as the child of a police officer to find wedding…

    Ferdinand, Pierrot, same difference.

A hope to categorize and itemize to the heart’s content is shattered by the banal truth that there is no discernable avenue to life’s path. Only bookends and jumbled up notes to cross cut between, colors that half match the mood and hushed lines to piece together arbitrarily. These images don’t tell us a glimmer of the true story, no war photos can aptly depict its true nature, only conflict lives to tell the tale before…

Obviously not by any means a GOOD story and not by any means an ENJOYABLE watch BUT a lot of dope framing, cam movements and action scenes beheld. And the directorial choices by Paul W.S. At the end of the day if…

Interesting mixed bag, on one hand I commend Snyder for his bold directorial choices such as his use of lenses with an extremely narrow focus and strong blooms of bokeh that is really neat…I also think it is equally frustrated when I’m ripping my eyeballs out as that same narrow focus goes OUT of focus for those closer shots.

The story as well, bold directorial choices, its an awesome setup, some interesting characters (sometimes)…well really AN interesting character being Matthias…

This is so buns I’m at the theater fuming over how much of an incoherent mess this is before I even get to the end. Faltering back and forth in my mind I keep asking “Why? What is the point?” Knowing track records its even more frustrating, I pulled out my phone a bit through to search up who was the writer because I could not believe for the life of me that Bong Joon Ho did this. Its not…

There's certainly nothing like the impenetrable psyche of a teenager. Incertitude every which way, grasping for a solidified base to start fresh. Endless wandering, ever present longing. Without aim, one can only raise the bat so high. Finding answers amidst others, just for them to be as confused as you. Looking to the adults for maturity, just for them to be as immature as you. You're confused? So be it. What's love anyways? We aren't the rulers of the worlds…
