  somethings ive been thinking about this film; 

  how, in other versions of Jekyll and Hyde, when Jekyll becomes hyde, it’s secretly from a place of pleasure, like his deepest fantasies are being enacted on.

  here, in this vers., hyde is acting out of grief, not desire. After changing the character to be black instead of white, and in an attempt to sympathize him, he then has the pain (and desire) necessary to become a Hyde. Is he really Hyde (or…
