It was painful to watch this. I really hate realistic movies, it felt like watching the news about a normal day in Venezuela… young people being consumed by cycles of violence, trapped in their poverty, oppressed by the very people who are supposed to “protect” them
Vinz dying at the end reflects how, even if they want to stay away from violence, even if they choose another fate, they are doomed, their fate is sealed.
So, “the poor are not poor by choice” they are victims of a system that perpetuates violence and abuse of power…
