Two films this year have a protagonist who's a pretentious asshole that get hurt when people tell him/her the truth about his/her mediocre book. Unfortunately, in one of them there isn't any Christian Petzold to make things vaguely interesting.
Again, rich american people and their unrelatable dramas inexplicably coming with high praise from Sundance. Yawn.
