  Also Trump jumpscare.

  So incredibly stupid but so funny. Stiller, Wilson, and Ferrell all perfectly embody their characters in the best and dumbest ways. The jokes here are super stupid but the performances never falter, plus there's like a genuine (if dumb) plot happening throughout, so the story never feels baseless. Not a marvel of filmmaking (as it was never supposed to be), but stupidly funny and such a delight.

  Thelma pushing the rollator away is possibly the most accurate scene in film history.

  A super fun spy film or Jasan Statham flick - but with old people. Squibb is an absolute gem, and brings so much to this performance, including her own stunts.   Try to make a cute critter but not a marketable plush challenge level: impossible.

  A fun sci-fi romp that mixes a lot of genres, but kinda fails to complete any one. The ethical ideas and dilemmas are there, the statement about classism and corrupt power is there, the idea of existing as two people is there, and the fun-goofy space stuff is there; but nothing really meets its own threshold to be the headlining vibe (maybe fun space sci-fi does).…

  A strong third film in the Sonic franchise that is mostly very aware of what it wants to be. Some of the writing is a little too Hollywood/kiddy for me, especially from the first act, which felt kinda rushed and just struggled with the pacing overall.
