"The liquid runs down my arms, my colours transcend me into darkness"

A creepy slice of Italian folk horror. When an artist is tasked with restoring a church fresco in a strange remote village, he uncovers a dark mystery.
The opening sets the tone perfectly, and the atmosphere of dread pervades the entire film. Beautifully over-saturated to make colours bolder and shadows darker, paired with a subtly unnerving soundtrack, this film oozes style.

A short sci-fi film that packs more world-building into 20 minutes than most films in their entirety. The short asks the question: "How screwed would humanity be if a technologically superior and antagonistic alien race showed up to purge everyone?" The answer is 'Very'

The James Cameron cameo was a mixed bag. It felt more like an opportunity for him to plug Avatar than discuss marine life.

When the world begins to flood, an unlikely mix of animals find themselves on a boat and must find safety while putting up with one another. This beautifully animated film captures the spirit of companionship and working together when faced with a catastrophe.
There's no dialogue in the film so the characters are very…
