  it looked pretty! i fell asleep twice .. doesn't say anything interesting about repression or gender, which couldve been fleshed out w the surrounding colonialism of its setting .. i get that may be intentional, but Apocalypse Now drives the point home better on the senselessness of violence/maintaining power/internalized bs/blah blah and everyone on that set was deathly coked up. this movie, on the other hand, has the emotional impact of someone talking *at* you on coke, while saying nothing at all

  don't bash back, shoot first ..
  silly and existential, with Nine inch nails the whole way? come on. angry, restless, cathartic. good stuff👍

  the last 10 minutes of this movie was insane also
