  Objectively I thought this was a very well made movie, if stretched out a bit too much at the end. Subjectively this was horrific and awful and interesting and I never ever want to see it again and it was so loud in cinema and I nearly walked out at the end because I was so overwhelmed at having more horrific things happen everytime I thought the movie was finally going to end and it kept going.

  soundtrack simply good. some excellent final girl moments and ending. I was quite concerned about the cat the whole time - but grateful Ripley had her priorities straight.
